AllStar Innovation LLC pours concrete and builds masonry for homeowners and businesses across the Bloomington area. Patios, slabs, footers, sidewalks, steps, and block or retaining walls, with more than 15 years of hands-on experience behind every pour. If it needs concrete underneath it or block holding it up, we handle it.
This is an owner-operated, fully insured business. Brad runs it himself, lives in the area, and you can call him directly. We prep the base, set the forms, pour clean, and stand behind the work. Concrete fails when the base and the prep are rushed, and we do not rush them.

Concrete Patios
A concrete patio turns part of the yard into usable space for a table, a grill, or a place to relax. It is low maintenance, holds up to weather, and gives you a solid, level surface with none of the shifting and weeds that can come with loose pavers.
We form the patio to the size and shape that fits the yard and the door it connects to, and we slope it correctly so water runs off instead of pooling. Finish options change both the look and the grip, and we will walk you through them.
A patio pairs well with a deck, a walkway, or a fire-pit area. If you are planning a larger outdoor project, we can pour the concrete as part of it.

Sidewalks & Walkways
A concrete sidewalk or walkway connects the property and gives you a safe, even path to the door, around the house, or out to a shed or patio. Sloped correctly, it also helps carry water away from the foundation.
We form walkways to the width and route that make sense for how the property is used, with control joints placed so the concrete stays clean as it ages. The surface is finished for grip in wet weather.
Cracked, heaved, or uneven walkways are a trip hazard. If yours has seen better days, we can tear it out and replace it with a flat, solid path.

Block & Retaining Walls
Retaining walls hold back soil, level out a slope, and turn unusable grade into space you can actually use. Built right, with proper drainage and a solid base, a retaining wall holds its line for the long haul.
We build block and retaining walls sized to the load they need to hold. Drainage behind the wall is planned in from the start, because water pressure is what pushes failing walls over. Block walls also work for foundations, garages, and other structural needs.
Whether the wall is decorative, structural, or both, we will look at the site and build something that does the job and stays where it is put.

Steps & Flatwork
Concrete steps, porches, and general flatwork are the finishing details that get used and seen every day. We form steps with consistent rise and run so they feel right underfoot, and we finish flatwork smooth and clean.
Steps take careful forming to come out square, even, and safe. Cracked or crumbling concrete steps are also a hazard, and replacing them is often a quick, worthwhile job.
If you have flatwork that needs pouring or old concrete that needs replacing, we handle it as part of a larger project or on its own.

How much does a concrete patio or slab cost in Bloomington, IN?

How long before I can use new concrete?
Foot traffic is typically possible within 24 to 48 hours, but the concrete needs more time before it handles heavier loads. We will let you know when your specific pour is ready. Concrete keeps gaining strength for weeks after the pour.
Why does concrete crack, and can it be prevented?
Concrete moves as it cures and as the ground shifts with the seasons. Control joints are placed so it cracks along clean lines instead of randomly. Proper base prep, correct thickness, and well-spaced joints are what keep cracking under control — those steps are part of every job we do.
Do you replace old or damaged concrete?
Yes. We tear out and replace patios, walkways, slabs, and steps that have heaved, cracked, or crumbled. We will tell you straight whether a replacement is the right call or whether the existing concrete still has life in it.
Can you pour concrete in the winter?
Concrete work depends on the weather. Pouring in cold temperatures takes extra steps and is not always practical. We will give you a realistic timeline based on the season and what your project needs.
Do you do masonry and block work too?
Yes. Along with flatwork we build block and retaining walls for foundations, garages, slopes, and structural work. If your project needs both concrete and block, we can handle it together.
