Good landscaping is planned, not piled on. We design the layout around your home, the way the light falls, and how you actually use the yard, then plant trees, shrubs, and beds that fit the space and the conditions. The goal is a yard that looks intentional and gets better as it fills in.
We work with plants suited to southern Indiana so they hold up to the seasons instead of struggling. Placement matters as much as selection, and we set everything with room to mature so the yard is not crowded in a few years.

Mulch Beds & Bed Edging
Clean, defined beds are what make a yard look cared for. We install fresh mulch beds and cut crisp edges that hold their line, so the lawn and the landscaping each have a clear place to be.
Mulch does more than look good. It holds moisture for your plants, keeps weeds down, and protects roots through hot summers and cold winters. We install it at the right depth, not piled against trunks where it can do harm.
Bed edging keeps mulch where it belongs and makes mowing easier. We can refresh existing beds or shape new ones into the yard.

Hardscape Patios & Walkways
Hardscaping is the built side of a landscape, the patios, walkways, and sitting areas that give the yard structure and usable space. Done right, it ties the whole property together and stands up to years of use.
We build walkways that connect the yard the way you move through it and patios sized for how you want to use them. A solid, properly prepped base is what keeps hardscaping flat and stable, and that prep is where we spend the time.
Hardscaping pairs naturally with planting and walls. If you are planning a larger outdoor project, we can build the hardscape as part of it.

Retaining & Garden Walls
A retaining wall turns a slope you cannot use into level, usable space, and a garden wall adds structure and definition to beds and borders. Both need a solid base and proper drainage to last.
We build walls sized to the job, whether they are holding back real grade or simply framing a planting bed. Water is what destroys failing walls, so drainage is planned in from the start.
Walls also create terraced space on a sloped lot, opening up room for planting, seating, or a level yard where there was not one before.

Boulders & Decorative Stone
Boulders and decorative stone add a natural, low-maintenance anchor to a landscape. Set well, a few good boulders give a yard weight and character that plantings alone cannot.
We place boulders so they look like they belong, settled into the grade rather than sitting on top of it. Decorative rock and gravel also work as a durable, no-mow ground cover in the right spots.
Stone is a long-term feature. It does not wear out, and it keeps a yard looking finished through every season.

Grading & Drainage
If water is pooling in the yard or running toward the house, no amount of planting fixes it. Grading and drainage address the problem at the source by shaping the ground so water moves where it should.
We regrade low spots, shape swales, and direct runoff away from the foundation and the areas you want to use. It is not the most visible work in a landscape, but it is what protects everything else.
If you have a soggy yard, a wet foundation wall, or erosion cutting through the property, we will look at how the water moves and put together a fix.

Our focus is on landscaping and hardscaping projects rather than weekly lawn service. If you need bed refreshes, mulch, or seasonal cleanups, ask us during your estimate and we will let you know what we can do.

New plantings need regular water while they get established, and beds benefit from a mulch refresh each year. We walk you through care for what we install so it has the best shot at filling in well.
