Every deck is designed around your property. Size, shape, height, and layout are worked out with you before the first board goes down. We set the footings right, frame it solid, and build it square so it feels sturdy underfoot for years.
Wood gives you a warm, natural look at a lower upfront cost than composite. With occasional cleaning and sealing, a well-built wood deck holds up for a long time.

Composite & Low-Maintenance Decks
Composite decking gives you the look of a finished wood deck without the maintenance. The boards resist splintering and rot, and they do not need staining. They hold their color far better than wood, and a rinse now and then is about all they ask for.
It costs more upfront than wood, and what you get for that is time back. For homeowners who do not want a yearly sealing project, composite pays off over the life of the deck. It comes in a wide range of colors and finishes.
We frame composite decks with the same solid structure as our wood builds. The decking on top is the low-maintenance part. The bones underneath are built to last.

Multi-Level & Elevated Decks
Not every yard is flat. For homes on a slope or with a walkout basement, an elevated or multi-level deck makes the space usable. We build raised decks with proper support, solid stairs, and railing built to the height the job calls for.
Multi-level decks break a large space into areas that make sense, like a dining level off the kitchen and a lower lounging area closer to the yard. The layout is planned around your door placement and how the ground falls away.
Elevated builds take careful framing and footing work, and that is exactly the kind of detail we do not rush. The structure is built to feel solid no matter how high off the ground it sits.

Deck Stairs & Railings
Stairs and railing are the parts of a deck used and judged every day. We build stairs square and even, with consistent rise and run so they feel right underfoot. Railing is installed solid, with posts anchored properly so nothing flexes.
Railing also sets the look of the deck. Wood, composite, and metal baluster options each change the feel, and we will walk you through what fits the home and your budget. Open designs keep the view, closed designs add privacy.
Whether it is part of a new deck or an upgrade to one you already have, we make sure the stairs and railing are built to be leaned on.

Deck Repairs & Board Replacement
Not every deck needs to be torn out. If the frame is still sound, replacing worn or rotted boards and refreshing the railing can give you years more use for a fraction of a full rebuild. We will tell you straight whether a repair makes sense or whether the structure is past it.
Common fixes include swapping out cracked or cupped boards, replacing soft spots, firming up loose railing, and rebuilding stairs that have seen better days. We match new material to the existing deck as closely as we can.
If the framing is too far gone, we will say so rather than patching over a problem. Either way, you get an honest assessment and a clear quote.
